We had a very busy Easter weekend. We spent the time at home, dyeing eggs, hunting eggs, smashing cascarones, eating ham and hash brown casserole, and packing for a big move.
First things first. The boys wanted to dye Easter eggs. So, still in the t-shirts they slept in, first thing on Friday morning, we dyed eggs.
Gavin wanted to see what all the excitement was about.
Gavin got caught up in a moment. He was doing something clever with that little car, and me and the bigger boys started clapping for him. He dropped what he was doing to have a little clap, too.
Then, he started posing for the camera. Oh my. This made us all laugh so hard. Little GQ, Jr.
Did I mention we were packing this weekend. These two helped us quite a bit. Between keeping themselves busy, finding their own snacks and drinks, playing in the sprinklers, and coming in to check on us, they actually packed a few boxes.
When did Liam start to look so grown up?
Sweet brothers eating suckers.
Sunday morning, the boys woke and found their baskets full of fun things.
Then they hunted eggs.
Lots of eggs.
More eggs.
Gavin couldn't figure out why they kept hunting. He found one that had a Twix in it, brought it to me to open, stuck the candy in his mouth, and finished his hunt. Little guy had one egg.
