Photos from England

We are home!!! Owen was an amazing traveler. Here are some photos from our time in England...

Owen was happy to be off of the plane and seemed proud of his passport stamp!! He watched very seriously as his passport was reviewed and stamped. He is such a funny little guy. He was so tired after landing though...he was running a fever and had only slept about 3 hours out of 9. There was a over-hyper four-year-old on the plane that kept us all awake--even O. Poor guy.

Once we made it to Grandma Chip's (formerly known as Grandma Q) house, we got Owen to sleep and he napped for about 3 more hours. He wasn't himself for a couple of days though.

On Thursday, Owen met his Great Grandma Hodgson. She is 103 years old and was absolutely in love with her great-grandson! He enjoyed showing her his new skill...walking. We finally got him to take a break for a photo opp. Here is O's four generation picture from his dad's side of the family. So cool!

On Friday, Daddy Q and I took O into London. We had a brisk stroll...man, it was cold, and then went to the London Aquarium...it was a disappointment. The highlight was a green screen photo we took of the three of us riding a string ray....hmmm.

After the aquarium, we visited Hamley's to get the little man some Christmas gifts. We let him ride a rocking horse...I think he was shocked by the price?!?!?! Needless to say, it didn't make it home with us ;-)

Friday night was fish 'n' chips night.

Owen is a fan....it's in his blood...he can't help but love fish and chips!

Saturday morning, Owen's Great-uncle Davide and Great-aunt Margret came to visit. Uncle David put Owen on his knee to do the "Galloping Major". Owen couldn't get enough!!! Daddy Q is trying to learn it!!

Then, more time with Great Grandma Hodgson.

Sunday, we drove to Bath to see Owen's Great-Aunt Honor. We had amazing smoked salmon sandwiches, champagne, and tea. Owen was really intersted in the smoked salmon sandwiches ;-) Honor made him his own version--bread with Irish Butter. That made him quite happy!

It sure was cold in London! We bundled up Owen each time we were outdoors for more than a few seconds. He looked so cute that I had to snap a photo. Here he is in front of Grandma Chip's house. Isn't he a doll?!?!
Photos from Thanksgiving in Tennessee to follow later this week!
