Owen's Spring Program @ MDO

Last night, Owen's preschool held its annual Spring Program and fundraiser. Liam was very happy to come and watch his brother sing. See?

And, Owen was very happy to sing! When I asked him what his class was singing, he told me "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Noble Duke of York." I thought that was ironic, since those are the two songs we also sing a lot at home. Then, I thought, "well, maybe that's why he likes those so much." As we walked in, I asked the Director if that's what they were singing. She laughed. Turns out they sang "Jesus Loves Me" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands."
If you would like to see the performance on video, visit Abby's blog (a link is on the right side of this blog). Lucky for me, Owen was right behind Abby, so you get to see him the whole time! Thanks for the video, Cathy!! We couldn't have done a better job of capturing our son's performance if we tried. ...and, we didn't. We are video impaired.
After sining, Owen showed us all of the art work he created and we got to hear a little bit more about his crush on Maggie, the little red head that sits next to him in class.
Last, but certainly not least in Owen's mind, we ate pizza.
Now...all of this happened AFTER the boys got some more time in the bounce house! When they woke up from their naps, Owen asked if we could wake up the Dino.
So, we did.
And, boy, did these boys have fun!

Hop-py Spring!
