Little Man is Lovin' His Vacation

Oh my goodness....Daddy Q and I cannot beleive how happy this little guy is. Maybe its mostly cause he is finally feeling better? Or, maybe he really knows we are on vacation. Either way, he is uber excited. He has adopted a new Beevis-style laugh {or Butthead--we aren't sure which one laughed this way, but we don't want to refer to the apple of our eyes as "butthead"} -- he just bounces up and down, turns circles, and squeels with delight every time we are in our room. Enjoy the photos from our first two days here!

Owen checking out HIS room....he has a seperate room from us, complete with crib, stroller, bottle warmer, and...

his own flat screen and remote...{que Beevis laugh}

All you can eat....yummy!!!

check out the iguanas...there were 6 this afternoon right outside of our room, which is in the Iguana building--fitting.
our view at lunch - post Owen's 2 hour nap.

Playing in the sand. Owen is LOVING the sand, but not so crazy about the ocean... Hopefully, later in the week he will warm up to the surf...
sandy boy...

oh yeah... I am on vacay, baby!! got my snack cup, sippy, and Baby Einstein all right at my finger tips. Beach living is the bomb.

Owen and Mama Q at dinner tonight... recognize the outfit, Jahna?

Owen and the foilage.
On the beach at the end of the day, on Day 1.

Daddy Q checking out the wedding that was taking place at sunset last night. It was gorgeous.

Look for more pics later in the week! Tomorrow morning, Owen gets an up-close encounter with a dolphin!! He get 10 minutes in the water with a very calm, mellow dolphin. We are hoping he gets IN the water, since that has been a problem. Later today, we got him in the pool and he had fun. Oh well. We'll see what happens.
Later this week, we may do a 1/2 day cultural excursion or lobster lunch. we'll see. But, right now, we are enjoying the sand, sleeping in, sounds of the surf, pool, and Daddy Q is playing some tennis in the afternoons--he came home with a medal today! Way to go, hun ;-)

Looks like fun! I am leaving for Hawaii tomorrow for work, but extending the stay for a vaca...much needed! I wish I lived closer to all of my Texas friends, as I don't have any friends here with children. Any tips on meeting people with babies? My email is lynzag01@yahoo.com if you ever want to email instead :) Have a great vacation!
